Founded in 1989, JBC, the Japan Book Center, has expanded to include a language school dedicated to teaching English and Japanese, in order to promote greater cultural awareness and cooperation between Americans and visitors from other countries.

For over twenty years, the JBC Language School has taught English and Japanese to students in Bergen County.

 JBC Language has expanded our committment to promote global citizenship.

 The JBC Language School goes beyond simple language instruction--we strive to expose our students to the rich cultural life of the New York/New Jersey area.

Keeping our commitment to continually improve the quality of our instruction, the JBC Language School is seeking accreditation with ACCET, the renowned accreditation institution. Becoming an accredited institution will benefit our students and graduates by providing further endorsement of the English language skills acquired at the JBC Language School. ACCET is listed by the U. S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
